What Jen has to say about Suunta . . .

She is doing great. She is VERY attached to me, but is starting to really love Matt as well.  But, a total momma's girl, unlike any other dog I've ever had (I admit, I love it).

Suunta enjoys the agility stuff, but she is in love with the Frisbee.  She has a ton of talent with that, for sure!  It's the first thing she goes for when we let them out in the yard.  She's also addicted to swimming, as are all of our puppies!

Also, she is very much a people dog, she is so very sweet and eager to meet every single person she sees.  The other day, Matt was walking her and started talking with a gentleman with severe Parkinson's and she just sat in his lap and was loving on him but was very gentle.  It sounded great, she has a gentle soul, for sure.  Matt said it really made the guy's day : )  I could see her really shining in some therapy work when she gets older!  She is just so gentle with babies, kids and adults...it's sweet.

What else?  Not too much, as you can see the fine hair behind her ears is really bleached.  We say it's part of her papa showing through.  We are really tickled with how our pack gets along, they really have things worked out perfectly and are all just in love with one another.  I am shocked that Panda is still alpha, but she is.  I guess she really stepped up to the plate after Soli's death.  Suunta is in 2nd since poor Bentley needs to be last; he's too big for any power, plus I got to keep the men around in here in check or who knows what would happen ; )

Time has flown!  I can't believe how old they are, sigh.

BTW, Suunta is getting so good in the pool.  She swims all over now, and she is just such a calm swimmer.  She is just about ready to use the ladder in the deep end to get out and she is trying to figure out how to climb up on Panda's boat (pool float Panda lounges on).  It's so fun watching her learn from her big sister.

We are so pleased with her, we were talking about it last night.  I really think Sam is just so amazingly beautiful, but Suunta stole my heart the minute I saw her, she really did, it sounds so corny but it's true.  Her personality really works with us and our pack, no doubt.

More from Jen . . .

Isn't the photo of the nephews with her drinking out of the pool so cute.  One of them was VERY afraid of dogs until they met her, he told me that he loves dogs now :)  I love it!

Since she's such a ham, so would lie down for the kids and roll over for tummy scratches.  They stayed with us for a few days and every time they saw her they would scream "BELLY RUBS" and she would run to them.  Kids and dogs, I could watch it for hours.

Her level of tolerance is amazing.  I think her proudest moment is when our neighbor's kid went to his mom "I wish our dog was a Suunta dog, mom"...giggle.
Is that Daddy Sonic's red coming out behind her ears?
