8/31/09: O'my debuts in AKC agility and earns a NA qualifying score and wins 2nd in his class.
8/30/09: O'my earns an upgrade to his CPE agility title. He now has a CL2-R. Good going!
8/19/09: Lois receives a title certificate from DOCNA. She hadn't realized that O'my had earned his S-BGA agility title on July 4! Congratulations!
8/16/09: O'my qualifies 5 for 5 at a CPE agility trial. He adds another CPE title to his name -- CL1-F.
8/9/98: Beckett and I earn our third qualifying score in Lansing, MI, for our Utility title -- finally! It was our 14th attempt. We also qualified in Opne B on the same day to earn our first UDX leg -- only 9 more to go.
8/8 & 9/09: Lois and O'my go 6 for 6 in qualifying runs at a CPE agility trial, all with 1st placements, and they earn two new titles CL1-R and CL1-H. Congratulations to an accomplished team!
8/7/09: Deb and Cinder earn their first Rally Excellent leg in Lansing, MI, and I was there to see it! Congratulations to this hard working team!
8/1/09: Lois and O'my earn their first Rally Advanced leg with a third place on a very difficult course.
7/4/09: Deb and Cinder earn their Rally Advanced title! This is Cinder's second title in just eight months.
6/7/09: Beckett and I finally get qualifying leg #2 towards our Utility title at Champaign, IL. Beckett did an awesome job, scoring 195 and placing first under judge Nancy Withers. This was our 10th attempt to get a Q. One more to go . . .
5/25/09: Trey again goes Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/ Best of Opposite Sex at Corn Belt Kennel Club in Bloomington, IL, under judge Lydia Coleman-Hutchison for another point for her breed champoinship point total.
5/24/09: Trey finishes her HSAd herding title under judge Joy Sebastian-Hall. She scored an 83 and was first in her class again. She also went RHIT for the second day in a row. I am very proud of her and her efforts.
5/23/09: Trey earns her second HSAd leg in her third attempt with a placement (1st) under judge Bob Ewing. She also wins Reserve High in Trial.
5/22/09: Trey goes Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/Best of Opposite Sex at Illinois Valley Kennel Club in Bloomington, IL, under judge Prof. Douglas Taylor to get her first breed champoinship points. Prof. Taylor gave her a nice compliment. He said, "she moves like a dream."
5/9/09: Trey (Quail Creek Imagine A Third One) earns her Companion Dog (CD) title under judge Pat Krause. It took just three attempts to get her three qualifying scores.
5/9/09: Cinder earns her second Rally Advanced leg the same day she goes RWB in the breed ring under judge Jon Cole. Way to go Cinder & Deb!
5/2/09: Cinder (Imagine A Sonic Fireball) earns her Rally Novice title, going 3 for 3 in qualifying scores. She was then moved up to Adavanced and earned her first qualifying score and first place. Congratulations to Deb and Cinder!
4/26/09: Trey earns her first qualifying score in herding on the A course on ducks under judge Alan Koebke and also earns first place in her class.
4/5/09: O'my (Imagine A BC O'my) earns his Rally Novice title in just three trials (April 3, 4, & 5) just two weeks before his first birthday. Congratulations to Lois and O'my!
3/29/09: Trey earns her second qualifying score (197.5) and secures second place in the class under judge Jeffrey Showman. The score is also good enough for her to be awarded the prize for high-scoring border collie! One more to go . . .
3/28/09: Trey (Quail Creek Imagine A Third One HIC) goes into the obedience ring for the first time and earns her first qualifying score (192.5) towards her title. She also got a placement (4th) after winning a run-off under judge Diane Allen. Good girl, Trey!
1/20/09: Riley (Imagine Living The Life) finds his 'forever' home. The lucky boy is now an only dog and the center of attention! Congratulations to Chuck and Darlene of Naperville, IL, on getting this handsome boy.
12/5-6/09: At a CPE agility trial, O'my has another 10-for-10 Q weekend earning more legs and two new titles (CL2 & CL3-R). He was first in every class all weekend. What a man!
11/28/09: Cinder has an awesome day, getting 4 Qs in 4 attempts, and earning two new titles! She now has her Rally Excellent title and her Novice Agility title. This was her first attempt in Open Jumpers and she qualified & also got her first Q in Novice FAST. Way to go!
11/20/09: O'my earns his Novice Agility Jumpers title with a 1st palcement. He goes on to earn his first Open Jumpers and Excellent Standard leg (both with placements) at the same cluster of shows. He also earns 4 (of 10) RAE rally legs. Great weekend!
10/23/09: Deb & Cinder tried CPE agility for the first time and qualified in 4 for 5 runs, all with placements.
10/17 & 18/2009: O'my goes 10 for 10 with placements at a CPE trial this weekend, earning a bunch of new titles -- CL-1, CL-2R, CL-2F, and CL-2H. Way to go!
10/12/09: O'my earns his Open Agility title with three 1st places.
10/8-9/09: Cinder earns her second Novice Standard leg with a 3rd place and also has two qualifying runs in Novice Jumpers to earn her NAJ title at the Border Collie National Specialty.
10/5-7/09: Trey earns her HSBd title (Herding Started B course ducks) in three straight qualifying runs at the Border Collie National Specialty.
10/4/09: O'my earns his Open Agility title with all 1st placements. This boy is moving on up!
10/3/09: Cinder earns her first AKC agility Novice Jumpers leg with a 3rd placement in her first go at agility competition. Way to GO, Cinder and Deb!
9/25--27/09: O'my earns his Rally Excellent title in three tries, all with placements
9/24/09: O'my earns his Rally Advanced title with a 4th place and then goes onto earn his first agility Novice Jumpers leg with a 3rd place. Later the same day, he also qualifies in Novice Standard and earns his NA title. What a day!
9/20/09: O'my earns his second leg in Rally Advanced with a 1st place
9/19/09: O'my passes his herding instict test with many positive comments and is now Herding Instict Certified
9/12 & 13/09: Beckett earns UDX legs # 2 & #3 with double Qs each day at Peoria Obedience Training Club under judges Dave Mauer and Mike Piefer. Her scores were very respectable too.
9/12/09: O'my earns his second AKC agility NA leg with a first place. He ran a 66 second course time in 39 seconds. He ran in jumpers also, but knocked a bar and NQ'd. Course time was 46 seconds and he ran it in 22 seconds. What a fast dog & team!
